20 November 2026 Venue: Science & Education Institute s. r. o., Bratislavská 614, Trenčín Lecturer: Ondřej Adam Monolithic restorations with IPS e.max® Ceram Art A new staining system and the latest IPS e.max® Zirconia A comprehensive overview of every phase of producing monolithic restorations, focused above all on introducing Ivoclar's new staining system. We start from the very beginning – choosing the shade and then selecting the specific milling material, considering both the indication and the desired shade. Next we explain how to use these values when selecting a specific IPS e.max Zirconia zirconium-oxide disc, or IPS e.max CAD / IPS Empress CAD blocks – in terms of translucency, of which dental tissues they imitate, and not least the correct indication based on the material's physical properties. The main focus will be on zirconium-oxide materials, where the mechanical properties of the individual disc types – and therefore their indications – often differ significantly. We will of course go through all the disc types in the IPS e.max ZirCAD system and their specific optical, aesthetic and indication possibilities. We will then focus on the various finishing options, including the theory behind each technique as well as the appropriate practical use of the full range of materials in the new staining system, with a hands-on demonstration.
